ABOUT US
Castor Canada is owned and operated by Richard Bowlby, an experienced firefighter and paramedic. Castor Canada was created in 2004 to provide affordable, accurate emergency training to the Ottawa, Ontario area.
 
Work Experience:
I have worked as a primary care paramedic (PCP, P1, A-EMCA) in the Ottawa area since early 2000. I also have 7 years experience as a firefighter and fire dispatcher in the city of Ottawa. In 2006, I completed my Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP, P3) training and am working in the Kingston ON area..
Teaching Experience:
I have been a certified St John Ambulance instructor since 2003. I have also contracted my services out to other companies in and around the Ottawa area. As a firefighter I also used my skills and experience to assist with in house emergency training of other firefighters. I currently work as a clinical instructor for the paramedic programs at a local community college.
