Generic WHMIS Training

Workplace safety training is a critical element of safe business operations in Ontario. Proper training is the first step to ensuring a safe work environment, with a reduced likelihood of accidents or injuries. Under WHMIS regulations, employers are obligated to educate anyone who works with, or may come into contact with any hazardous materials.

Castor Canada can provide you with the necessary generic WHMIS training to meet Federal and Provincial requirements. The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), came into effect in Ontario in 1988. The main elements of the system are cautionary labelling of WHMIS “controlled products”, the provision of material safety data sheets (MSDSs) and worker education programs.

Combine Castor Canada's WHMIS training with a first aid and cpr course to ensure that your workplace is in full compliance with the regulating labour laws.
